Meet Jim and Beth!
Jim began driving charter buses in the early 1990’s and joined Chuck’s Travel in 1996. Beth began escorting tours in 2000. They have traveled extensively throughout the United States, and limited travel in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Africa, and Israel.
Jim and Beth Clifton are both retired teachers. They both retired in 2009 from the Whitehouse school district where they worked as assistant band directors. Before moving to Whitehouse in 2001, they both were teachers in Gilmer. Jim was head band director, and Beth taught elementary music.
They have two daughters, 2 son-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren. Jim and Beth are both active in the Whitehouse United Methodist Church where they sing in the adult choir. Beth is also the co-director of the children’s Crusader choir. She also composes and arranges music for church choirs.
Beth’s hobbies include reading, studying Christian literature, scrap booking, playing the piano, and cooking. Jim’s hobbies include reading, playing the piano, snow skiing, taking care of the family cars, and yard work. Of course, they are both passionate about travel and do as much as possible.
